Dear Zan:
Thanks for your comments regarding my post. I am never rude intentionally, nor do I ever intentionally try to offend anyone. Yes, I am passionate about my beliefs, and I would never post an opinion that was not factual. When I referred to Reagan as a liberal, for instance, my intent was to encourage people to research the fact regarding his record, and not simply believes the “talking-head” on FOX. The following are just a few of the very liberal issues Reagan supported, and the position he took, as governor and President.
As Governor, on a "conservative" platform, Reagan California’s spending increased by 112%. Reagan was the first Governor to increase personal income taxes by 60%, increase the cigarette tax by 200%, and increase state tax collections by 152%; and the only president to have been divorced.
Reagan increase spending by 80%, in his 8 years, as president, and spent more in eight years than was spent in prior 50 years; Increased the national debt faster than growth of national income; Reagan increased the national debt, about 300%; He was the first to increase the national debt faster than growth of GDP; Reagan doubled the deficit; He kept America a debtor nation.
During his presidency the Dow set a record for the largest one day percentage decline in the DOW in history. 10-19-87. During his presidency the nation "real" interest rates rose to 8% after averaging 1% over 35 years. He kept prime interest rates at 20%, for a long period of time. (This was blamed on Jimmy Carter, just as Obama is blaming Bush today – it is part the game these parasites play). Home loan interest rates as high as 16%.
First to allow the savings and loan industry to be raided after signing a deregulatory bill and proclaiming "I think we have hit the jackpot". Come and get it the vaults are unguarded...
First to testify "under oath" 130 times that "I don't remember".
First to have unemployment at 10.8% since great depression.
His party led to the most farm foreclosures, since the depression; in bank failures; in Savings and Loan failures; the highest percent increase in personal bankruptcies.
Reagan was the first President to have over $10,000,000 increase in personal wealth from serving for 8 years as president.
Ronald Reagan cut taxes once, while raising them six times. The national debt increased, and credit expanded. Reagan was given credit for helping the economy, when the opposite was true. Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker tried when he raised interest rates. That's the opposite of what Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan has done to keep inflation low. Greenspan’s low interest rate policies were continued by Ben Shalom Bernanke, current Fed Chairman.
Reagan had his war also, as all Presidents want and seem to embrace, when the U.S. invaded the small island of Granada.
The greatest Reagan myth is that “He won the cold war.” The truth is Reagan did nothing to bring down the Soviet Union. By 1980, the Soviet Union was trying to cut its own defense spending. Reagan made it harder for them to do so. Reagan never even tried to bring down the Soviet Union. In fact, no president has done anything to diminish the spread of Marxism. I point out how we have embraced the “Ten Planks of Communism,” by Marx and Engels, in our political system in my soon to be published book. Reagan’s wasteful overspending on defense didn't end the Soviet Union. In fact, it played into the hands of authoritarian "Communist" hard-liners in the Kremlin. Reagan thought the Soviet Union was more powerful than we were, so, he was trying to close what he called "the window of vulnerability." This was sheer idiocy. No general in our military would trade our armed forces for theirs. We had better systems, better troops, better weapons, and better morale, and we still had a sense of patriotic freedom.
The truth is that we lost the Cold War. The principles written by Marx and Engels formed the foundation for a global plan for the “insiders” (as they are referred to by Carroll Quigley in his book, “Tragedy and Hope”)” to establish a New World Order.
The Soviet Union military couldn't deal with a weak state on its own border, the poor, undermanned Afghanistan. Afghanistan is not on our borders, and we were able to defeat the enemy there for a while; however, it has turned political and as usual, the “insiders” have decided to democratize a Muslin country, which is impossible to do. Richard Nixon told Reagan he could balance the budget with big defense cuts. Reagan ignored this, and wrecked our budget, but remember, a balanced budget is just a manipulation of numbers, What is needed is a cut in spending and a reduction of government, which is opposite of what the “insiders” want in the U.S. Mikhail Gorbachev, a pawn of the elitist, followed instruction and broke up the USSR into manageable states. Maggie Thatcher, fell out of grace with the globalist, and was replaced by Tony Blair; but, alas, worry not, they remain members of the Power Elitist.
Reagan seldom took the blame for any adversities. He even blamed Jimmy Carter for the deaths of 243 Marines stationed in Beirut, helpless and unguarded; yes, this happened on Reagan’s watch. Again, let me remind you that this is part of role that Presidents in office play. Reagan was an actor playing the part of the president; it was style over substance. Reagan was by far the most overrated man in American history, and even today, most conservatives believe Reagan was a true patriotic conservative. NOT TURE!
"By the end of his term, 138 members of Reagan administration had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever." from p. 184, Sleep-Walking Through History: America in the Reagan Years, by Haynes Johnson, (1991, Doubleday).
Now, I can give you and others more regarding Regan, Gingrich, and others who claim to be conservative, but I had rather you do your own research and discover for yourself.
I am concerned about our nation and the future it holds for my grandchildren (I have 10). I do not want to see our once great nation slip into the category of “just another third world country.” And I sure that you want us to get back to our Constitution and enjoy the freedoms our founders promoted, which would exclude a tax on income, a tax on property, and the elimination of the FED (get rid of fiat currency). Now, if I am out of line, please let me know, and I will gladly cease from posting to this sight.

With kindest regards,

Ken Brown (I am sorry, if my "Rebel" attitude offends anyone)

Dear Fellow Patriot and True Conservative:
Take a close look at republicans who are trying to miss use power to restrict the First Amendment by attempting to pass legislation under the false pretense that our nation’s economic future is at risk because of Wikileeks disclosure of facts regarding the government. Do not be fooled, as our Congress, and the Federal Reserve has already taken care “putting our economy at risk,” especially, the economic future of the average citizen of the U.S.
A Republican Congresswoman, which I will reframe from naming, as I do not want to be “guilty of name calling” said that Wikileeks should be “shut-down” because it caused a security risk for the United States, but defended the New York time for exposing the same information, as “it is a public company,” she said. Anyone accepting this reasoning has to be political stupid, or too “blind” to see the truth. What is being exposed should have been a long time ago, not by a Website but by our elected officials, as they work for us, and not the other way around.
Again, “we” are taken as fools by elected officials who think they can tell us anything, as long as they pose as conservatives. These “neo-cons” (no names mentioned) supported the passage of NFATA, and CAFTA, along with many more so called free trade agreements, detrimental to the welfare of the middle class patriotic American. These phonies use buzz word, such as “Contract with America,” which was a farces, and accomplished nothing, while our debt soared, and deficits rose. Now, these same phonies (no names mentioned) are touting for a permanent tax cuts under the “Bush Tax Plan (so named)… sorry, for using Bush’s name, but it is the only way I have of identifying what so called conservatives are promoting. Let me remind you, my dear patriot friend, an income tax is a Marxist principle, and we do not need TAX CUTS, BUT AN ELIMINATION OF THE PRO MARXIST INCOME TAX, and AS WELL AS THE STATE TAX ON PROPERTY. This is not an opinion, but a fact which can be proved to anyone not too lazy to read “The Ten Planks of Communism,” by Marx and Engels (Planks number 1&2) --- you can Google it up!!
I strongly suggest that anyone claiming to be a conservative, and challenge him/her to research those icons who claim to be conservative, some are dead, to discover the truth for yourself. I also, suggest that you read as much of Communist Manifesto as possible to discover who in public office follows the principles espoused by Marx and Engels (some are out of Congress now, but still have influence in the Republican Party). I try not to state anything that I cannot support with factual documentation, as some “pseudo-conservatives” get upset with me when I expose one of their phony Icons. I also suggest reading “Tragedy and Hope” for anyone wanting to know the truth about who controls governments, and how,,,, (Pease Google up: CFR, TL, Bilderberg Group, and the “Round Table”)

Now you understand why I was suspended from the Tea Party's Nation website. My comments about individuals mentioned are truthful, and correctly describes their character, and sometimes the truth is offensive; however, I shall reframe from exposing the immoral behavior of those who are hypocrites and condemns others guilty of the same immoral behavior. I shall further reframe from exposing the liberal record of pseudo-conservative icons, as I do not want to disturb the naïve thinking of a person who falsely perceives himself as a conservative; after all, “ignorance is bliss” --- and I must remember that I am a guest here; so, please accept my apology.
With kindest regards,
Ken Brown, a true rebel, and patriot (strictly anti-Marxist and pro-Constitutionalist)

Ken, we can't all agree on everyone and on all things one person does. But we try not to call names and throw stones. We can make our points with out the negative lingo. We are many voices here at the RDP, all Conservative, but are by nature individuals and all tend to lead not follow. We can have civil discourse without hyper-name calling. That's the good thing about debates and open forums, everyone can express his opinions, but be aware that not everyone see things your way. We have libertarians, GOP, Democrats and many Independents in our group but all are here for the big picture, a returen to our founding. Many of your points are well taken and good topics for conversation, but please present in a way for others to engage, not to inrage. Thanks Zan Green

Conservative phony, Sean Hannity is at it again, promoting adulterer and womanizer, Newt Gingrich, a CFR member and pseudo-conservative. Will true conservative patriots ever wake up and expose these hypocrites for the phonies they really are?
When I hear so-called conservative talk about how conservative Reagan was, I almost puke. You know we all realize that all democrats are Marxist, but we fail to recognize those in “Republican suits.” What I have learned that few people check the record of these so called conservatives, and listen to too many talking-heads on FOX.
We need to get rid of Shelby, Sessions and most of the others we have in DC… they are not representing we the People, but “we the sheeple.” All for self-serving interest!!
We need to get rid of: Income tax, property tax and the FED. Who in the world thought that it is a good idea to give control of our income and property to politicians? And to let a private bank control our currency? Are we stupid, or what?
Then, there are those who support winless and useless wars (not really a war, as no war has been declared since WWII – unconstitutional)… Now, we have a food bill – giving more power to the FDA- they want to protect us – do you believe this?

One more time - in case you missed my first post: An open letter to our Congressmen in Washington. D.C.
Not realizing the mic was hot, a Democrat Senator voiced frustration with the way the Food Safety Bill vote went down. He referred to the whole system as being rigged, that no one even gets a chance to talk about it before the vote was jammed in. Senator Sessions, and Shelby; and Jo Bonner, “did you already know the system was rigged? If you did why do you not tell your constituents and expose the corruption in Congress? If you do not know the “system is rigged, why not? Are you “asleep at the switch?” Or, maybe, you a part of the rigging? However, my dear Senators and Representatives, this is merely confirmation of what I already knew. Democrat, Michael Bennet, from Colorado saying it, and just happened to be overheard with a live mic during a C Span broadcast and now it is confirmed for those who do not know how corrupt our political system really is.
However, I cannot blame you, as you really have it made with your high salaries, perks, and retirement plans…..Who is at fault? It is we who vote to keep you in office. We are to blame. We are a bunch of political ignorant, lazy voting public who spend more time worrying about the outcome of the Auburn/Alabama football game than we do about the welfare of our nation.
As a member of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Baldwin County, I will do everything I can to get anyone out of office who does not support anti-Marxist principles, which includes elimination of the income tax; eliminating the property tax (on a state level); getting rid of the pro-Marxist Fed that creates fiat currency, which destroys our savings; and eliminating public education; and oppose all the other principles advocated in “The Ten Planks of Communism,” by Marx and Engels.
I want elected officials who are dedicated to returning our nation to Constitutional principles, which would include, decreasing the pay of all elected officials by 50%; eliminating retirement plans paid for by tax dollars for all elected officials and judges; and reducing the size of all government agencies by 50% and getting rid of many of them, including the Department of Energy, the Department of Education, welfare, and OSHA--- return the power to the people.
Signed,
Ken Brown
