‘Sustainable Development’ sounds like a nice idea, right? It sounds nice, until you scratch the surface and find that Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development are really cloaked plans to impose the tenets of Social Justice/Socialism on the world.

“Take Back Alabama” Meeting
This is a reminder that you are invited to attend the next
“Take Back Alabama” assembly, which will be held this coming Saturday, (March 10th)
At the “Holiday Inn Express” in Clanton Al.
The meeting will begin at ONE PM.
(Note: The hotel does NOT have a restaurant. Please eat before you arrive. There are many fast food restaurants at this location including The Waffle House, Burger King, McDonald’s, Captain D’s, What-a-Burger and Jack’s.) Coffee and water will be provided at the meeting.
Well, the Alabama Legislature is gathering once again in Montgomery. Bills are being introduced by the hundreds, nearly all (say their sponsors) are designed to promote the “health and safety” of Alabama citizens. Most of these bills are clearly unconstitutional under Article 1, Section 35, of the Alabama Constitution, and none, as far as I know, eliminates or reduces government intrusion into our lives.
Many of the players have changed but the system, and the lobbyists, and the moneyed self interest groups remain; and we, the voters must be diligent and involved, lest our newly elected officials become corrupted by power and money and then themselves become those whom, we and they, have worked so hard to replace.
When observing the process of legislation in Montgomery, the following two quotes comes to mind: one reflects the understanding of constitutional government engrained in the thinking of our founders; and the other reflects the entitled mentality of today: (1) “That the sole object and only legitimate end of government is to protect the citizen in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and when government assumes other functions it is usurpation and oppression.” - Alabama Constitution, Article 1, Section 35.
(2) “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. – C. S. Lewis
For a politician, this is the most enticing trap of all, to protect us from our selves, while unknowingly depriving us of our freedoms.
We will all need to be diligent in the coming days and months, for the crisis is upon us and we must now be ready to re-engage in the battle to save our state and our nation. Many well informed people believe that 2012 will be the tipping point (especially for our national government) and that the fate of our nation will be decided in the coming months.
Those forces which would deprive us of our rights, our heritage, and our children’s futures are hard at work plotting and scheming to expand their control over our lives, and to develop methods of implementing their agenda and ultimately forcing “their” will upon us all.
As an example: The IRS has begun harassing “Tea Party” groups and other conservative citizen’s groups nation wide by demanding information about their donors, members and agendas. This is, of course, a thinly veiled effort to tie these groups up with legal paperwork, thereby reducing their ability to fight corrupt government, and frighten their membership into silence on the issues related to the upcoming elections.
Locally: The County Commissioners of Pike County have placed “Home Rule” on the primary ballot for March 13th and are trying to trick the local people into voting for it with the usual deceptive ballot language about health and safety. Hopefully, we will have some folks from Pike County at our meeting Saturday to talk about what is happening in their county and how they (and we) can fight it.
Joey Hartline has got the City of Albertville on the run. The city dropped his case without allowing him to go before a judge and present his arguments. (They knew that they could not win.); so we thought that they were “backed off,” but then two days later the city issued him another citation, so we are wondering what they are up to.
We have found our primary sponsors for our ballot language bill now called “The Alabama Informed Voter Act” and our “Anti-Agenda 21” bill. So now we will be gathering co-sponsors to help speed these bills through the Legislature and getting the word out to the voters about the importance of this legislation.
These are just a few of the issues facing us. 2012 will certainly be an exciting year. We have much work to do!
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, March 10th, and make plans to attend this meeting.
As you can see, there are many important issues to discuss.
Come if you can and bring other interested people with you. It should be an exciting and informative meeting!

1) Where is Alabama's legislation to Counter Agenda 21?
2) Here's Newt's position on Global Governance/Agenda 21. Link: http://cumbey.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-age-hidden-dangers-of-newt-g...
Comment by Mary Richmond on January 24, 2012 at 7:26pm As we listen to various debates...if we are afforded the opportunity to send in questions...it might be interesting to ask what is your position on Agenda 21. So far, the only candidate I've heard mention Agenda 21 is Newt Gingrich...which just proves he knows about it..and that's something, I guess. Mary
